In 2006 Galway Filmmaker Paul Murphy spent a couple of days with Margaret in Connemara. The result was a short documentary Margaret Irwin - Magic for the Printmaker. This short day-in-the-life film showed at Irish Film Festivals in 2007 and won second prize in documentary competition at the Waterford Film Festival 2007.
